
The Michael J. Fox Foundation today announced that it would award Santa Monica-based biotech ArmaGen Technologies, Inc., up to $1 million if all milestones are met to take practical steps toward developing a “Trojan horse” delivery technology for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) will host its second annual PD Therapeutics Conference on Monday, September 15, in Chicago.
MJFF funded 15 high-risk, high-reward Parkinson’s disease research projects under Rapid Response in the first half of the year. Applications are still being accepted, and a total of $2 million in Rapid Response awards is expected by year’s end.
