Special Events Volunteer
The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research has an exciting opportunity available as a Special Events Volunteer. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, high-energy individual who is detail oriented and has strong inter-personal and communication skills.
Internships
MJFF internship program provides college students with hands on experience in a fast paced, entrepreneurial non-profit organization. Interns may work in a number of different departments during their internship in order to gain a well-rounded perspective of the organization. MJFF hires approximately three interns for each academic semester and summer. Internships are unpaid and may be either full or part time. Course credits may be available so please check with your academic institution.
What are we looking for in an intern?
Interns should be interested in gaining an understanding of the basic mechanisms of non-profit organizations. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work on multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Word and Excel and strong attention to detail is required.

Team Fox Intern
The Team Fox Intern will have a unique opportunity to work within a highly regarded non-profit organization and gain firsthand knowledge of the operations and management of a quickly growing grassroots community fundraising program. In addition to this, the candidate will have the opportunity to attend local Team Fox events.
